The team started out as fellow students at the same B.Ed college in 2017, where we found a disparity in the things taught and the reality of the schools around us. We started an initiative, HaateKhori, in 2018, to help local students cope with the disparity and bridge the gap in their knowledge.

But it soon came to our realisation that we need to become a part of the education system and bring about a number of significant changes if not a revolution from within. Hence, in 2019, we started Kolotan: Shaping Chaos into Cosmos, in order to establish our beliefs that quality education with a holistic approach can be provided even with minimum resources. Up until the COVID-19 pandemic this journey was going strong, but the pandemic has put a dent in our plans, but we are going strong towards our ideologies.
